Happy Memorial Day everyone! So this is it, my very first blog post and it's a little scary. I have been scrapbooking for years but have become more and more interested in creating other types of art. I am also a recently stay at home wife and would love to find a way to maybe make just enough money with my craft items so that I can fund my artsy obsession. In this vein I have created a shop on Etsy with the name RileyTristanDesign. My hope was that this name sounds professional but honestly I really love my cats and these are their names, plus I have a bit of an obsession with anything Irish and they are Irish names after all! Now all I need to do is get going on items to put on there! I swear I'll start working on that. I recently helped host a 30th birthday party for one of my best friends and since she couldn't go to Paris for her birthday, I decided to make it a bit of a theme party. Peacocks in Paris, oh yeah did I forget to mention she loves peacocks. So following are a few pictures of the invitations I made (using all items from Stampin' Up) and some feather pins I made for all the ladies to wear. I hope everyone enjoys the photos and whatever comes next in this new adventure. Cheers!
